The Bank of Fayette County is hosting a Financial Elder Abuse Event on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Bolivar City Hall. The focus of the event is to educate seniors, so they do not become victims of financial abuse.
Some of the topics that will be covered are how to:
- Recognize scams
- Identify mail fraud and telephone scams
- Seek help for emotional abuse
- Prevent financial fraud
