Hardeman County Schools held its September board meeting on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Watch the meeting now by clicking below.

Bolivar Elementary School

Celebrated Grandparents’ Day.

Mrs. Ashley’s class honed their math skills, recreated the Washington Monument, and had a full week of learning.

Mrs. Allen’s class learned the letter P closing out the week with popcorn and a movie.

Sight word masters after the first nine weeks.

Walking rainbow fun.

Letters and sounds were mastered.

Donations being sought for Clothes Closet.

Ms. Johnson’s third grade class Identified evidence to explain the central message of a story.

Mrs. Forehand’s students can count and write to 100 independently.

Golf team players advance to regional.

Zeriyon Jones was named Farm Bureau Player of the Week for the Dyersburg High School game.

FFA and 4-H members advance to state.

Picture makeup days will be September 29.

September is College App Month, and teachers Steven Grantham and Rachel Taylor were featured.

Economics class learned about the father of Economics.

Culinary students participated in a “mystery box” cooking challenge.

Second graders used whiteboards to practice counting by 5s and tally marks.

Mrs. Williams’ seventh grade class visited the STEM Center.

Fourth graders visited the Agribusiness Center to learn about the Forest Festival.

Pre-K celebrated their SROs before the officers head to the academy.

Kindergarten students celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day.

Enjoyed lunch with their parents.

Ms. Kaitlyn’s class wrote on their desks for math practice.

Quiz-Quiz Trade strategy was used by Mrs. Cinicollo’s third grade class to practice multiples.

Johnny Appleseed Day was celebrated in Ms. Kayla’s. Ms. Stacy’s, Ms. Tahanna’s, and Ms. Kaitlyn’s, classrooms, and in the cafeteria.

Learned about Constitution Day.

Celebrated 9 to 5 Dolly Parton Day.

Jesse Hayes was named Offensive Player of the Week and Jeremiah Hoyle was named Defensive Player of the Week for their skill in the football game against Pickwick Southside.

Football Tigers fall to Manassas.

September is College App Month, and Dr. Michael and Mrs. Cox and Mrs. Annette Mitchell and Coach Williams were featured.

Lady Tigers volleyball beats Bolivar.
