Bolivar Community Comes Together for 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

[tpm_video]

Although the moment was somber, the 9/11 Remembrance ceremony held at the Bolivar Fire Department (BFD) on Friday, September 11, 2026, is where all who attended wanted to be as they remembered the almost 3,000 lives lost 25 years ago. BFD Chief Lynn Price has held the ceremony since 2011.

The morning began with breakfast at Backwoods of Bolivar. Members from several of the fire departments in Bolivar, Grand Valley, Hornsby, and Toone; the Hardeman County Sheriff’s (HCS); and the Hardeman County Rescue Squad were in attendance. Hardeman County Mayor Todd Pulse as well as members from the community attended too.
