Tractor-drawn hayrides, farm animals, the duck pond, pumpkin patch, pig races, and corn maze fun have returned to Falcon Ridge Farm for its annual Fall Harvest Festival. The Gilmer’s have held the festival for about 18 years at their family-run farm, which is located in Toone, Tennessee. Each year, the festival attracts thousands of people, making it a destination for creating memories and continuing traditions.
“Our first Fall Festival was in 2009 and so I think we’ve been doing it abought 18 years and my favorite part of the Fall Festival is just getting to see the kids and the families enjoy themselves. Now, we’ve been doing it long enough, we are seeing some of the second generations come through. Some of the kids that used to come on field trips with their parents are coming back bringing their kids now and kind of get to see everything full circle. So, really enjoy getting to see the kids come back here year after year,” said Bart Gilmer.
This year, the corn maze theme is America 250. Once you enter the maze, the only way out is to correctly answer civics questions. Hopefully, you paid attention in class! There are pig races with Jimmy Dean, Squealy Nelson, Elvis Pigley, Snoop Hoggy Hog, and Taylor Swine racing to the finish line not for a trophy, but Oreo cookies.

“The Fall Festival will go all the way until Halloween, October 31 is the last day this year and then we’ll close up and take down the fall decorations, put up Christmas decorations and then we’ll open back up the weekend before Thanksgiving to sell Christmas trees At Christmas, you can come and go out on the field pick out a Christmas tree and if y’all want to cut it down, you can cut it, if not, we’ll cut it for you. It’s a great experience to get out with the family and go out and pick a farm grown Christmas tree,” said Gilmer.
Visitors can also see the farm animals in the barn, shop in the store, and purchase freshly cut flowers.
