From Hardeman County to the UK: Lakelin Lemmons Pursues Her Music Dream

[tpm_video]

In just one short year after signing her first singing contract with Stone Country Records under its Quartz Hill Records division, country music artist Lakelin Lemmings’ music career is on the move, and her name is now familiar further than just Hardeman County, Tennessee. If you have been following her musical journey since she first took the stage at Music on the Square in Bolivar, you can say you “knew her when . . .”. Lakelin Lemmings is now a recognized country music singer here in America as well as abroad.

Lakelin, who is a native of Chester County, has been singing since she was six years old. Her dream has always been to sing professionally, and she regularly made appearances at Music on the Square. She signed her first publishing deal at the age of 17 and is known for hit singles like “Baby Daddy”, “American Dreamin’”, “What are We Doing”, “Get Around Boy”, “19 & Single”, and “He Ain’t Coming Back”. On July 24, 2026, Lakelin released her first full-length studio album, which is self-titled.

It was not too long ago Lakelin shared her giddiness at hearing her herself on the radio for the first time singing “American Dreamin’”. That seems so long ago, especially now since her songs are frequently heard on country radio stations across the country and she is regularly touring, having recently returned from the United Kingdom.

We are not sure when our “hometown girl” will return to Music on the Square or Hardeman County. Until that time, we can watch with excitement and anticipation for a young girl, who has a love and heart for Jesus, continue to climb the country music charts as she pursues her music dream.

You can hear Lakelin’s music on Spotify and Amazon Music. You may also follow her on Facebook and Instagram.
