Quinco Bringing Mobile Mental Health Services to Grand Junction

[tpm_video]

Beginning Monday, November 9, 2026, Quinco Behavioral Health will bring mental health resources directly to the Grand Junction community through its Behavioral Health Mobile Unit. Every second Monday of the month, the mobile unit will be located at the John Wilder Community Center from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The convenience and accessibility of the mobile unit in Grand Junction reaffirms Quinco’s commitment to bringing mental health services to rural areas.

“This [Grand Junction] community was chosen because we recognize the importance of making mental health services accessible to individuals living in rural areas. Residents may face barriers such as transportation challenges, limited access to local behavioral health resources, or difficulty traveling to a clinic for services,” said Autumn Burton, Quinco Director of Care Coordination Services. “By bringing our Behavioral Health Mobile Unit directly into the community, we hope to reduce these barriers and connect individuals with the care and support they need.”

Burton stressed the goal is to make mental health services more accessible, provide education about available resources, and encourage individuals to prioritize their mental health and well-being.

Each month, the Quinco Behavioral Health Mobile Unit makes stops throughout the seven rural communities it serves: Hardeman, Chester, Decatur, Hardin, Henderson, Madison, and McNairy counties. Qunico partners with local organizations and community agencies to establish regular stops where individuals can learn about its services and access behavioral health support.

“Our team offers outpatient therapy and counseling, care coordination and resource referrals, crisis intervention support, and referrals to medication clinics,” said Burton. “We accept TennCare and the Behavioral Health Safety Net (BHSN), ensuring that individuals have access to affordable mental health care regardless of their financial situation.”

Quinco hopes bringing the mobile unit to Grand Junction will reduce barriers to care and help individuals take the first step toward improved mental wellness. No appointment is necessary to receive services. Anyone interested in learning more about the services or seeking support is welcome to walk up and connect with the Quinco team.
