Although the Middleton High School (MHS) Lady Tigers volleyball team did not return from the TSSAA Girls’ Volleyball State Championships this week as planned, the players have so much to be proud of as their season comes to an end. The Lady Tigers accomplished being district champions, regional champions, and sectional champions. A major milestone was Middleton’s return to the State Championships after 12 years. It has been a great year for the Lady Tigers and a fantastic ride for their fans.
At the State Tournament, the Lady Tigers played the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts on Tuesday, October 30, 2026, falling 3 – 0. On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, the Lady Tigers played Halls High School in the Consolation Bracket (Division I-A Championship) and fell 3-2. In both matches, the Lady Tigers played hard, skillful, and with so much heart. They gave their all and should be proud of the effort on and off the court.
Coach Zeke Craft shared in the video what he believes makes this team of girls so special.
Coach Craft says goodbye to seven seniors: Taylor Hammons, Brianna Harris, Molly Kate Hobbs, Emma Howell, Brooklyn Kissinger, Macee Mitchelll, and Brooklynn Webb, who are a part of his starting lineup.
