[tpm_video]

The Hardeman County History Club, geared toward high school students, will hold its first meeting on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at The Little Courthouse { 215 East Market Street, Bolivar, 38008 }. The club was created by the Hardeman County Juvenile Court and will be led by Judge Harriet Thompson. She hopes to provide an opportunity for young people to learn more about Hardeman County history.

The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. During the meeting, students will receive a guided tour of The Little Courthouse, which will be led by Hardeman County historian Cissye Pierce.

As an incentive, students who attend the Hardeman County History Club meeting will receive four hours of community service. Community service hours may be used to satisfy the requirement for the Tennessee Promise or Juvenile Court.
